Soil Erosion and How It Affects the People, Plants and Animals in Africa
Soil Erosion affects the people, plants, and animals of Africa by causing widespread hunger throughout the continent. This happens when big companies slash and burn the forests of Africa. This leads to plants dying which means that all of the roots disappear and their is nothing to hold the soil in place. This makes the soil infertile and not nutritious. Farmers are unable to plant their crops on this land and when this happens, it causes widespread hunger because their is not enough food to go around. If there isn't enough food to go around, the people of Africa start to get mad and this can lead to riots over food.
Animals in Africa are affected by this because, if there are not enough plants to go around for all of the animals to eat the animals could starve. If these animals starve, this could make humans start to starve. If humans start to starve, this could lead to many deaths.
